All the Right Questions by To'mas Que Fuego & Witty Pseudonym Both of the authors are introspective, clever, and
good at provoking thought. If you don't agree with one author, you'll probably
agree with the other. From the author: "This site was put together by two outstanding individuals from two
completely different U.S. Time zones. I’m not much for labels, but if I had to
classify us, I’d call us Ratchademics. (a term I’ve copyrighted so you better
not steal it) What I mean by this is that while we appreciate intellectual
discourse and progressive ideas, we’re NOT, I repeat NOT above some good
old-fashioned foolishness. As a matter of fact we encourage it as long as it’s
not malicious. (Trolls you’ve been warned) Also we both enjoy reading books and
“doing hoodrat things with our friends” equally. [Topics?] A lil bit of
everything, but since we’re both young and sexy we’ll typically wanna discuss
social issues, dating, relationships, the science of ratchedness, armchair
psychology, individual philosophy, and personal experiences in this chaotic and
entertaining society we live in."
The
Esoteric Existentialist, written by Michael. I love this blog and not just because
I agree with almost everything he says on politics. I love it because it's a
one stop shop for discussion on great movies and the political scene. He
doesn't hold any punches but he manages to remain respectful, a tough balance.
From the author: "This blog was started as simply an outlet for creative
(and often inane) thought, but has transmogrified into an outlet for my
political thoughts, ideas and information. I still try and keep some of my
posts light, and welcome any and all comments and critiques."
HUCosell. I bet you guys didn't know I had a favorite sports blog. But I do!! In the author's own words, he is: Howard educated. JD & Sports Certificate from Tulane University, pursuing a career in sports. In my own words, he's clever, funny, smart and insanely knowledgeable about so many different sports that I wonder how he has room to remember anything else, like his login to his Wordpress site. Check him out.
VerySmartBrothas.com,
written by The Champ and Panama Jackson. This website has made me almost pee on myself. It is witty, smart, and
provides a great balance of ignorance and gems that we all know, but it never
hurts to hear again. (Duh, women, if you haven't met any of his friends, you
are not his girlfriend!)
Hyperbole
and a Half, written by Allie. My friend, Everette put me on this other cartoon blog. I
think the title says it all. I spent a good hour wiping lint off my cardigan
after I was ROFL for a couple hours reading her story about her dental
procedure scheduled for the same day as her friend's birthday party. Allie's
"About Me" reads: If I had to explain
myself in six words, those words would be "heroic, caring, alert and
flammable." That's only four words. Oh well, I guess I should have
thought of that before I started writing. Too late now.
Your Political Voice, written by Geoff Pope. This blog was created for people to express their “educated” opinions on political issues, campaigns, and candidates on a local, state, and national level. While this blog is available to everyone we are devoted to creating awareness to the age range of 18-30 year olds. We believe that it is imperative for this age group to speak up loud and clear, and let their political voice be heard! Everyone visiting this site belongs to different political parties and has different political views on certain issues. It is important for us to have a healthy debate and engage in a political conversation, but we must remember to respect everyone’s opinions and thoughts!
